About Sylvain Chicoine

He holds a degree in police science from the College de Maisonneuve in Montreal, Sylvain worked as a special constable at the University of Montreal since 1995. He was also involved in his local union from 2004 to 2010 as secretary-archivist. He was a member of the union executive and was involved in several working committees.

A native of Ville-Emard in Montreal, it was established in Delson since 2003 with his wife and three children. He is a member of the NDP since 2004. He ran for the first time and was elected in the election of May 2, 2011 for the riding Châteauguay-Saint-Constant.
